C. W. Leadbeater

Author: Robert Baird

Charles Webster Leadbeater is a central character in more than one new religion. Theosophy as a whole claims a lot of channelers and I find most of their information was already known in places like The Kybalion and The Coelbren (Christianized as Kolbrin) or in other writings of a more historical nature. This may have been ascertained by U. G. Krishnamurti during his many years with Leadbeater and the Theosophists like his Brahmin grandfather who groomed him from early in life. It saddens me to see them supporting all out Destiny when I know good acts and free will are in fact a vital ingredient in our Divine Potential and I know Jiddhu understood this when he wrote under the name Alcyon as a pre-teen. If you go to the law of cause and effect (RIGHT THOUGHT = RIGHT ACTION is one of the three Magian laws and it is my lifelong main pursuit.) in The Kybalion you get a far better picture of the nature of reality than what Leadbeater says here.

You will observe that there are only certain hypotheses. Either everything is only blind chance, and we are ruled by caprice, or we are under a regular divine law, and our surrounding are the result of our actions, good or evil, in previous lives. You will admit that you would like to believe in a law of divine justice. There must be a reason for that feeling that man has of always desiring justice. If God is infinitely greater than we, He must surely have this quality. We believe in Theosophy that it is a rational necessity that this law should exist, and we see in every direction instances of its workings. I can explain it only to a limited extent, because it needs long and careful study. But the broad outline we ought to be able to give, and then the details can be gathered from the literature. Never think that when you have heard a lecture on a Theosophical subject you know all about it. You have only to take up some of our books to see how very much more there is to be known, for in one lecture it is not possible to give all available information even on one point. (3)

The debates between St. Augustine and Pelagius are also more meaty and meaningful. The proven benefit of such dogma to the Catholic Church or Roman Empire in their battle against the Druids like Pelagius are a major part of a true history covering at least ten thousand years in detail no others have attempted. I do not use channeling like Blavatsky and the Theosophists as valid reference but I am lead to certain researches by something of a genetic transfer of informational nature perhaps. I am not beyond tapping-in to the Akashic and I am not trying to degrade the information they provided which was useful to me. But I want society to know and question the people who create these religions like Unity and even Yoga (Which is not a religion but some gurus use it as one.).
